Privacy policy
This privacy policy describes how Retail Systems Integration Pty Ltd ATF RSI Trust (ABN 74 304 796 164), operator of the PricePing service, collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal information. We comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
We collect the minimum personal information needed to operate the PricePing service:
- Business contact details: your name, business name, ABN, email address, and phone number.
- Mobile numbers nominated to receive SMS alerts.
- Your station selection and alert preferences — which competitor sites you track, fuel types, and alert thresholds.
- Delivery logs — records of alerts sent, retained for operational and billing purposes.
How we use it
We use the information you provide only to deliver the PricePing service you have subscribed to: generating and sending alerts, billing for your subscription, and communicating with you about service operation and account changes. We do not profile you, sell your data, or use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the providers necessary to deliver the service:
- Our SMS delivery provider (Twilio or MessageMedia) receives mobile numbers and message content solely for the purpose of dispatching alerts.
- Microsoft Azure hosts our infrastructure in the Australia East region. Data remains within Australia.
We do not share data with marketing or analytics third parties. We do not use cookies or tracking on this website.
How long we keep it
We retain subscriber information for the duration of your subscription and for 12 months after termination, after which it is deleted from our systems. Delivery logs are retained for 24 months for accounting and dispute resolution. You may request earlier deletion at any time.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, and request deletion of your data. To make a request, email privacy@priceping.com.au. We will respond within 30 days.
If you have a privacy complaint, contact us first at the address above. If unresolved, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Changes to this policy
